Ix Web Hosting Reviews Hosted at IXwebhosting

Yesterday, 17th April 2007, after almost 2 week running this review blog, and after getting in deep understanding about ixwebhosting plan, i had finally decided to signup Ixwebhosting expert plan, that allow me to host 2 domains/websites. One of the domain name is given free, and also given 2 dedicated IP address. WOW!

As usual, i will signup using my own credit card. Visited ixwebhosting website, and go to order page, fill in all information to complete the signup. Interestingly, they ask me for ixwebhosting account signup, and require me to create password for that. This is not control panel login, or ftp login. It seem like is ixwebhosting customer account. So, i give my password and complete the setup. In less than 5 minutes, the sign up process is completed.

I received the email notification for the manager login, at the time i still not sure its for the domain or for the hosting control panel. And my account is in pending status. After an hour, my account still  in pending status. This is time to contact support. I go to ixwebhosting homepage, and locate the live chat. Chat with the support personal, and they told me ixwebhosting would need to verify my signup details. They said that my IP address that i using while signup is not the same as my registered country name. Guess this is cause by my office VPN network.

Ok, i give the sales team a phone call instead. I make an internatioanal call to ixwebhosting. Dialed “00-1-270-707-2051. 00 is my country, IDD dialing code… you may skip the 00. After phone connected, i get to IVR prompt, a male voice. And press 1 to speack to sales. And right after that, immediately i was answered by the sales person.  Confirming my new signup with ixwebhosting is easy and fast, and take less than 3 minutes to complete. The phone bill cost less than $1.5 only.
