Follow this simple guide:
- Make sure you already have a IXwebhosting plan.
- Download the free codes from oscommerce shopping cart script.
- Unzip oscommerce script and upload to ix web hosting server.
- Check the php.ini settings, to make sure it is “register_globals = on”.
- In control panel, create a new mysql database and create a database user. Add the user to the mysql database.
- To start the oscommerce installation, browse to the location of the folder, eg: www.yourdomain.com/store, and the installer will guide you through the rest of the shopping cart setup.
- Simple as that, your installation is completed and your store is running.
