I’m not impressed by ixwebhosting. They don’t use a standard cpanel platform, their technical people don’t come forth with the truth and I’ve had several outages with them. I’m really not impressed at all by their services. For example, on the outages or slowdowns, it’s not unusual to loose access to all of my sites for 20-30 minutes every couple of days. When every minute is potentially worth $1, that’s costing me about $30 per day for ixwebhosting.

commonly in shared hosting plan, if you are new sign up, they will place you in new hosting server, with the rest of newbies as well. situation is that these group of user are busy updating their website and promoting their site. And they experimenting scripts as well. which lead to higher server usage and uneven server performance as you experiencing.
kindly contact ix hosting support and inform them of the service downtime you facing.
